It started with my first Camaro, a 1996 Camaro SS. It
was black and after I had the windows tinted, I noticed
the car looked somewhat sinister. I just immediately
thought "Phantom SS" and it stuck. Shortly
after that, I had my car's license plate personalized to
say "PHNTMSS". To add to the effect, in
1998 I swapped out the red trimmed
SS badges
with grey outlined set.
This was back in 1996. Since then, more than one "Phantom"
type of nickname has popped up in the f-body world, by no
coincidence. I recently read that the next generation
Pontiac GTO will be available in "Phantom Black",
but I think that
is a case of cioncidence
I am very sorry to say.
With the purchase of my 2002 Camaro SS, I continued my personal
Camaro tradition. It is black, it has tinted windows
and it has grey outlined SS badges. Of course, the
license plate still says PHNTMSS. I am not going to
stop there, I have many cool plans in the future. Signup

Eh...I am not that exciting, really.
I am a dude, married with one punk kid. We have a
huge
dog that eats more than I do. If you see reports
of a UPS delivery person or two missing, now you know why.
I play hockey once in a while in the winter even though
I suck at it. I am on a computer about 15 hours daily,
see the links page for reasons why.
I am pretty casual, I drink a beer or two sometimes on weekends,
eat pizza, cuss like a drunken sailor and well...
See? I told you I am not that exciting.
I'll add more when I can some up with something that sounds
remotely cool. Don't hold your breath.
