Limited Edition PhantomSS.Com Jones Soda - SOLD OUT!

I had Jones Soda Co. custom make a case of their soda with a cool picture of my car on it.  There were only 12 made and they are now all sold out.  Click the image to the left to see what you missed out on.

I may make something else unique about my car and/or this site in the future, so be sure to subscribe to my newsletter to be notified by e-mail if I do!

Once again, winter sucks.

Not much to update since the car is in storage for the rotten Michigan winter.  I am, however, working on a few new things.

SmoothLock sales were very good over the past few months due to them being distributed at SpeedSpecialty and word of mouth.  Due to popular demand, there are plans to make a complete kit for both doors and trunk for f-bodies.  The trunk size is widely universal, so it will fit on more cars.  I will post updates if things happen.

Finally I want to drop a hint about something else I am working on.  If you like my car and you like this site, I strongly suggest that you make sure you keep about $12 in your PayPal account for a chance to own a very unique and very limited collectible.  More details will be posted in about three weeks.  Be ready!

I just added the HTML version of my Camaro's window sticker.  It has been slighted edited but for the most part it is exactly the way it was presented to me when I found my car on GMBuyPower.Com.

Nothing much, just a new site logo which is much cooler than the old logo.  Also made some minor color changes with the text and links so it is a little easier on the eyes.  I still have to play with it a little bit so I am limiting it to just this page for now.  You may not even know the difference.

Speaking of the new logo, how much do you love me?

Lots of stuff to add, I have been behind a little bit.

Got my Jet-Hot headers installed a couple of weeks ago and got an increase from 317 to 331 rear-wheel horsepower!  See the post about it here with more details and links to before and after dyno videos.

Camaro Superfest was last weekend, and I am proud to say that I took first place in the 1998-2002 Street class, which was the largest class of the show.  Special thanks to my wife, I couldn't have done it without you.  Also thanks to the Frezza family and the Shorey Family for putting up with me all weekend.

People have said there are not enough pics of my car on this site.  Well, they are right.  I need to take some good pics of my car.  Until then, check out this killer pic of my car taken by Leslie Frezza on the way to Superfest.  It is the most current, and definitely one of the best.

I will have more MBA Products before and after pics coming soon.  If you haven't joined my newsletter yet, you really, really suck.

Just added the MBA Products Before and After Pictorial.  Of all of the things I have bought for my car, these appearance enhancements are among my favorite.  Many people know about MBA Products, but have no idea just how incredible the quality is.  Check it out!

I have more to be added to this, so join my newsletter using the form on the left to be notified when I add more to it!

I also added just a bit more to the About page.

Summer is here!

Well...close enough.  In celebration of summer getting here (or whatever), I have put up a minor addition:
A $2 Solution to Prevent Common Interior Wear

NEXT...
MBA Products  - A Before and After Pictorial.  Stay tuned!

Will summer ever get here?

I have taken my wheels and tires off the selling block for various reasons.  One thing is for sure, genuine GM Z06 wheels will NOT fit on a 4th gen f-body without hammer clearancing.  Man...this sucks.

So in other news, what do you think of my site?  E-mail me to to let me know.

Spring rocks.

Along with the beginning of a great new season, I finally put my domain name to good use.  This site will now always be at PhantomSS.Com.  So, for the three or four of you who will read this that came here entirely by mistake, please bookmark it.

BTW, I have some great wheels and tires for sale.  :)

Winter sucks.

Well, the Simmons wheels didn't work out so well with the lowering springs, I am extremely sorry to say. They were far too wide and had way too much rubber on them and rubbed when I turned. That is what I get for not doing the math. So for now, I am going with a set of Z06 wheels. It will still look bad ass. More to come...

Over the past weekend, I swapped out the red-trimmed SS badges for grey trimmed versions.  I did this on my '96 Camaro SS and like the look much better.

I also installed a set of Simmons F-Series wheels.  They are 17 inches in diamer, and 9 1/2 inches wide in the front and 10 1/2 inches in the back.  With BFGoodrich Drag Radials on the back, the rear tread is about a foot wide.  Looks like steamrollers.  The look killer, but now I have to wait until my DMS springs arrive to lower the car just a bit.  Couple that with a BMR suspension, and I will be almost ready for Bowling Green.  Pictures to come sooner or later.

Well, I picked up my car from the dealership.  Let the modding begin...

Hey everyone.  Remember me?  First web site update in about...oh...4 years.  Here is the reason why...

More coming soon. I know I have been saying that for a long time.  This time I really mean it.

I think.
