2010 Camaro SS Project – Back From SEMA with Video and Photo Gallery

In a previous entry, I posted a video showing my car getting loaded up on a Wednesday to go to SEMA just hours after I had finished getting it ready. The next time I saw my car was the following Monday in the Central Hall of the SEMA show, nearly all the way across the country from me.  Here is the video of it being returned to me.

Many of you might be wondering why I had previously mentioned that it would be in the Nitto Tire display but was moved to the different location. The answer to that is that space is always at a premium at SEMA and Nitto wanted to ensure that my car will still visible. So, it got moved to Central Hall, just a minute’s walk behind the Chevrolet display, right in between the Forza Motorsport 3 interactive center and one of the awesome new Lingenfelter L28 Camaros. Not a bad spot at all.

Details on my Forgeline Wheels

Since the release of my previous entry, I have been getting a lot of questions about the wheels so here’s some details.

First, I regret not having good pics of them on the car. I got the car done when it was dark and didn’t have a good place with decent lighting to snap a shot or two of them.  Immediately the next morning, the car had to be loaded up and transported to Las Vegas for SEMA. The video if it being loaded up the next day doesn’t really do the entire appearance justice.  All I have so far that is worth anything is a couple of quick camera phone pics I grabbed before they were mounted:

The specs:

When I ordered them, I did it the smart way…

The last few weeks seemed to pass like minutes. I have been so busy with my day job and then working on my SEMA project that I have had no time to make updates so I will do it all in this entry.  Consider this 2010 Camaro SEMA Project – Phase 3, 4, and 5.

Now that the Pedder’s Extreme Xa coilover system has been put in place and proven itself to be a very worthwhile addition to any 2010 Camaro, it is now time to start working on making some power. Phase 2 of this project is to install a set of Borla Long Tube headers.

It is one month until SEMA 2009 in Las Vegas, and I still have a lot to accomplish for it to be ready for the Nitto Tire display (booth 46115). At least Phase 1 of the project is now completed…which is the long awaited Pedder’s Extreme Xa coilover suspension kit. I mentioned this back in April as one of my first confirmed mods to my 2010 Camaro, and it is finally installed.
